I will stamp all over 'legitimate combatant' Paul - Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.

As the two fighters participated in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly happening.
